The 2011 Olympia Expo in Las Vegas was amazing! People came from all around the world for this weekend, held this year on September 16 and 17 at the Las Vegas Convention Center. The Olympia is the Superbowl for the fitness industry and the expo gives fans and fitness gurus a chance to meet and try new products. Our line at the Bodybuilding.com booth was non-stop right from the beginning on Friday until the expo closed on Saturday. At the booth we gave out thousands of free samples, provided a rotation of fitness celebrities and so much more. Bodybuilding.com is amazing and it is an honor to be part of the team of such an amazing company!
Multiple media events were set up and I represented the company in both live and prerecorded interviews. I was a guest on ABC's "The Morning Blend" on Friday morning where I shared my story and let the viewers I would be at the Bodybuilding.com booth at the Olympia Expo.
FOX News also joined us at the Bodybuilding.com booth on Saturday and aired my inspirational story and interaction with fans the same night, directly after the Emmys. An intern at FOX liked my story so much that he also came out to the Olympia Expo to do a feature news piece for the University of Las Vegas TV News station. It will air in October.
The fans and everybody else at the expo were amazing! I signed endless autographs and talked to so many people and felt inspired to be even better and make an even bigger impact - it is a blessing to be able to encourage so many people. Without fans we don't mean anything, so thank you!
The Olympia weekend is close to my heart because the 2008 event was the first fitness expo I went to and how everything really took off for me. I went to Olympia in 2008 to network and seek sponsorship for the IFBB Pro Wheelchair Division I was organizing. In the process I met Mick Skinner who recognized my talent and signed me up to be part of Bodybuilding.com. Since then my life has changed and if it wasn't for him and Bodybuilding.com, my message to inspire and motivate others would not have touched so many lives. Nor would so many people know about the sport of wheelchair bodybuilding which has become my passion.

I also met my dance partner Aubree Marchione at the Bodybuilding.com booth at the 2009 Arnold Sports Festival Expo. I later teamed up with Aubree and we won the 2010 Atlantic Coast Championship, the 2010 Philadelphia Festival and the 2010 Heart of America Championship. We soon became the undefeated #1 wheelchair ballroom dance couple in the U.S. Exactly one year after we met, Aubree and I became one of six couples in the world chosen to perform live at the 2010 Arnold Sports Festival for Arnold Schwarzenegger. In November 2011 we became the first couple in history to represent the U.S. at the World IPC Wheelchair Dance Sport Championships in Hanover, Germany. Aubree also helped produce my movie Perspective - The Nick Scott Story (directed by Robert Nuzzie). In 2011 the film won the Best Overall Award at the 1st Annual Arnold Film Festival. My crystal "Arny" in the international division was presented by Arnold Schwarzenegger and he invited me to visit him on a Hollywood film set.
As you can see the Olympia Expo has impacted my life in numerous ways and set forth a chain of events that impacted many people - just like a small rock thrown into water that starts off a ripple effect. I can't thank Mick Skinner enough for giving me the chance to be part of the Bodybuilding.com team. If he hadn't believed in me, the doors and opportunities would have never opened like they have.
